How I feel for you

I had a few lines wrote down and then i put this together in about an hour.

 

How I feel for you

Every day I see you knowing how I feel,

 but afraid to show my feelings.

 

It hurts me to know that I’m falling for you,

you’re a perfect person all around.

 

I know I shouldn’t it would be wrong to do,

but I am barely able to hide my feelings anymore.

 

People say to follow your feelings,

but all that I feel are feelings for you.

 

The ones before you all hurt me dearly,

I have had barely any time to heal.

 

I do not know what to do  but those around me say,

 go for it.

 

But something inside me says,

“Don’t you can’t handle another broken heart.”

 

Then I think what will happen,

When everything is all about you.

But I know that I cannot fight these feelings,

So tomorrow we will talk but not just about friendship.

 

If I only knew that tomorrow you would be walking,

Hand in hand with someone new.

 

I feel a little hurt but I put on my best smile and act happy for you ,

But know I am given time to heal my broken heart.

 

But what keeps me going is,

My chances with you are still there,

 

But only time will tell.

Wow, I loved this, it's so good and full of emotion! It's very easy to relate to, but slightly sad that I know exactly how this feels. I had the same type of conversation with my friends just a few months ago. Great job, it almost brought tears to my eyes!
