Law of Attaction

Law of Attaction

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

Beauty goes beyond what the eyes can see to what the heart and soul feel

"

Be there skin in your sights

Burning with deepest lust

Talk not of the form

When function is restored

Let the past turn to dust

As tastes vary like sand

For hearts will there adore

What other might overlook

To get to the heart of it all

Carve not upon the breast

But rather seek out the soul

Playing hide and seek close by

Looks do change with time

But auras rarely falter or slip

From their truest of forms

Where honesty meets modesty

Desire for Sunday’s best

Blinds six other days

For binding is not proximity

But where souls collide

Masking of our adorations

Behind a guise of settling in

Letting the concrete harden

Without setting the foundation

Looking for a calm reprieve

Guy not the one long past

As thoughts leave the sphere

To what matters the most

But no immutable laws exist

As attraction flows with time

For what turns the eyes quickly

May barely move the heart
