But Three Words

But Three Words

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

Actions > words

"
I whisper
But three words
To an empty space
Beside my head
Absent presence
Full of heart
Pure as gold

I wonder
But three words
Come to my mind
About my soul
Deeply seeking
The matching piece
To complete me

I falter
But three words
Shown but left unspoken
For timid fears
Collateral damages
From these feelings
Upon every breath

I hold
But three words
For a needed time
When actually wanted
From partner
Meant for me
Held in regard

I feel
But three words
Behind my every thought
For kindred soul
Fiercely strong
Shadowed in doubts
Yet still fighting

I hold
But three words
For one so deserving
Mutually respecting me
Deeply devoted
Not caged away
Free hurtful stings

I rejoice
But three words
Carried in delicate hands
Tips of tongues
Shown appreciation
Without burning bridges
Yet walked upon

Pretty good! I like that you never speak the actual three words. It gives me more of a feeling and less of a focus on simple symbols and characters. Thanks man this was good!
