My review of A Flicker of Hope by AprilRN1210

A Story by Wynter Ignatius

Not really a story, but she suggested I post this so I followed her advice on the subject. See her post here at http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/AprilRN1210/1343730/

Again, this is just a simple review, but I am not one to refuse the request of a lady so here it is.
To find the source see above or show her some love here http://www.writerscafe.org/AprilRN1210/writing/?&p=6
To open up to another is to give them ammunition against yourself - not always damaging unless thrown en-mass, but if you love them, you have handed them the gun and shown them where to aim.
We all search for that soul, with kindness in spades, with a heart willing to see, a soul that sets ours ablaze, arms to rest in and hold us tight and a mind to be able to know when and where we need them with but a word or silent glance that says more than an entire speech can convey.
But you have hope and that is not without it's own armor, defenses so pure and able to take blows of lesser creatures; far from imperfect but more than many have.
When you find that safe place, your partner in this chaotic storm we call life, grab on, hold tight and do for them what they do for you and all will be well. Far from perfect as nothing truly is rose and puppy dogs all the time, but far better than anything before, a league all its own, a love without compare.
We often forget that we want a friend first and lover second, but as we age, take out scars and marks yet get back up and ask for more, that is what we all really want - someone to talk to, someone who understands, and yet deep inside us stirs our passion to level we never thought we would see.
In this, keep your hope and it will lead you to this, in that please trust me for when we loose hope much of our true selves goes alone with it.

Well I had to do some clicking to follow the sequence of this writing which is suprising. I am not still clear as I never am of all the intricacies but if I take this writing and nothing else then what comes strongly at me is how you I am given the possibility to view the circumstances through your eyes. You seem to elevate situations, always redeeming, trying to emphasize the good of the human aspect, the half - full if you want a colloquialism.

Then the inherit wisdom or if you want the freindly advice with good intentions again as I try to put myself in that situation, I would have been greatful for this.

Upholding the image of the human being came to mind.

Thankyou
