Reason

Reason

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

Not sure what to say about this one - just let the muse take over for a bit.

"

Give me a … why this is as it is,

… with me about this turn of events,

Are there …s for silence to have fallen?

Can we … over this without any tears?

Show me your …s and I’ll show you mine,

Is there even a … we should stay the course?

Can a …able discourse be found between,

You and I …ing over the invisible wall,

Built with …, torn down still all the same.

So give me a … please as we come into …,

These …s will define us from here on out,

… is all we can do with the hurt and pain,

As we find a …able meaning to this all.

Good experiment. Proved your ability to try out new ways of writing without getting to far off track. That said it was an experiment and as with all experiments there are unexpected results. The "..." in place of "Reason" is appropriate in that the writer appears to be searching for reasons or at least some type of reasoning in general. I did feel lost in some places, but it was the kind of loss in the search for reason, and therefor the desired effect I assume the writer wished to elicit or express. All in all a good thinking poem.

The fill in the lines is a distraction ---
yet that's just my observation on this one...
I see you wanted to develop this into a unique or different type of format...
I'll still go about the way you're going -- but with less ...
and more focus on the defining moment of your verse...
as for the poem itself puts the mind to contemplate and as you say reason...
