Yet No Tears Will FallA Poem by Wynter IgnatiusCan't cry over something that didn't happen nor was but eluded to for further observation...I'm not sure how things came to change If you knew more than you entertained I didn't say much besides my thoughts A growing ember of bold uncertainty Resting delicately in my calloused hands Yet no tears will fall As I know not of your true pain Seeing something in you to gain Now with but silenced echoes between us Where chats occurred without much delay I didn't admit to anything so terrible A tiny light from my darkest corners Left to grow with the passing of time Yet no tears will fall As I know not of your heart Seeing you recover to new start Concern only grows despite your trepidation Rather seeing you pull away from the kindness Over a suggested path yet to be walked Trails not underfoot in your heart and mind Speaking praise in me and ignoring potential dawn Yet no tears will fall As I can't watch this slipping slump Wanting of cross over the next hump
