One Way Road

One Way Road

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

We walk the paths we know sometimes because that is what comfort is

"

This long beaten path

Beneath disillusioned feet

A road too commonly traveled

Yet it feels so natural

Placing boots upon the dirt

Walking the familiar route

Walked because of passion

Enduring the discomfort in strides

For feeling is not a crutch

Destination is always different

Reasons are all the same

My solitary jaunt so pure

Heart in tow but still beating

Eyes unsalted this time

My one way path so destitute

Towards the sunset of tomorrow

As today is but a moment

A moment soon to pass

"Destination is always different

Do reasons choose our destinations or destinations make the choice in our reason? What is the middle of cause and an effect?
A wonderful write...:)...................
