Archangel

Archangel

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

For Gabriel, my kindred's son - we all hope to see you back to your true home soon.

"

Stand hearty young man

Please be at peace

This storm will come...

And pass

For alone you are not

Abandoned you will not be

As for in true hearts

You will always live

And that is your only home

Fight for you far from over

To bring you to your family

For you are already there

Spirit distanced from your place

As judges decide your ill-fate

Testimony neglected to dismay

Yet shattered you may be

Agents toil for your escape

Freedom from tyranny planned

To see you back to the light

Just breathe deep and hold on

Keep your chin up unfortunate pawn

Endure until the next tomorrow

Repeat until you are free

As it will happen soon

You are not forgot by far

Nor could you be by anyone

Angel in the heart that matters most
