Sanguine LucidityA Poem by Wynter IgnatiusRandom musings today...Facing
the adversity with
a righteous calm to
weather the storm boldly no
protection outside
your skin listening
to the whispers obfuscated
truths are revealed silence
a weapon of choice yet
sheathed undrawn
in anger or rage but
rather to parry attacks feint
the hated of others attempts
to damage calm repugnance
of incoming rounds dodging
with poise and grace pulling
no punches in defense words
like fist against
armors of fears worn
without shame of
wicked souls demons
of the flesh chosen
path to a light actually
the fires of
personal hells wanting
of light inside the
just and more pure by
darkening the skies dragging
the innocent down
to their level failing
to see they
lifting those can bring if
only they let go but
they just attack crimson
eyes stained by
evil begetting evil standing
firm on
shaky ground at best no
foundation to their tirade swinging
at the air between missing
to strike true failing
to see the
bigger picture flailing
without a plan even
if they would connect spirited
by a clarity long left of the scene
