OublietteA Poem by Wynter IgnatiusA friend and her kids are getting a raw deal from a family member - this is how I dealt with it.This place of truest forgetting, where malefactor banishes kin, brutally efficient with sadistic glee, sadists do weep at your skill, with effortless application of dark crafts. The walls of this oubliette thick, yet lacking of fabric that embraces, shadowed pains and echoing agony, as you punish the young to the dank, looking to all a dull reflection of yourself. The outrage you express for naught, pain hurled to draw others into the void, created of the loss to push away more, with claim of nobility to dungeon true, welcome to your desolate depravity. Sight set upon flow to escape vile cage, as youth sinks into despair you've weaved, pleasure you've gained chiseled upon visage, to risk loss of legacy over a childish rage, tearing apart rather than esteemed you hold. Sensitive souls dimmed by your hierarchy, a long division between your familial ties, no appeasement sates your hateful hunger, cutting deep the corners with indifference, Lashing out just to break the fairer silence. Timid not the cut to be received upon chest, as heartstrings are severed in equal measure, your sorrows will by thy own to drown in, lacking prisoners for oubliette you crafted, fitting your blackened heart with elated solace.
