Dying Inside

Dying on the inside
Decay
Wither
Atrophy
Air and water
Nourshment and light
Absent or running out
As the caged pot
Holding heart
Aches of release
No longer stable
Wanton of
It's own demise
Yet each beat
Takes its toll
Brining pain
To show you life
Striking it's chord
Will all this necrosis
A seed is growing
Fertilized wholy
By the past
So let time pass
Breathe and rest
As this grows
Filling the void
Life from death
Cry if you need
Just don't salt
The greenhouse inside
As fallow fields will
Birth beautiful flowers

An amazing write. You weave words with talent and strike hearts with precision. The ending two lines were out of this world...:)............

I agree. You are welcome...:).........................
Life and death, loss and gain, past and future; the poem dwells on everything and flows very smoothly. Beautiful imagery. Choice of words elegant and precise.
