Reign of March

Reign of March

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

Rainy day writing and friends are feeling gloomy...

"
This March does not
spring to active bloom
as rains wash over
like tears heaven sent

So many feel hurt
left outside so cold
Alone with their motivations
Sorrows filling the cracks

Careless somber rains down
with no ease forseen
colour fades to shades
of grey clouded skies

Time spent beyond credit
breathing heavy and difficult
spending time in reprieve
all but lost again

Sulking easier than joy
giving in to tempest
comfort of sadness embraced
with content upon face

This weather drearily drains
of passions held close
yet few give credence
to your missing talent

I know not of
all these woes buried
bringing your spirit down
etching marks on soul

March to another tune
dance without your cares
speak with true heart
whisper your desires softly

So don't the rains
reign over you thick
when soul so strong
smiles with radiant light

In general this captures very well how ones soul can reflect a gloomy, rainy spring day when the ice cold rain seeps into everything ,even the cracks of your soul. :)

this line caught my eye:

'

So true... many of us do find a certian comfort in sadness, a joy in gentle sorrow...plus its just easier to be depressed lol.

'I know not of
all these woes buried
bringing your spirit down
etching marks on soul
'
Again this strikes a chord...depressed people cant explain whats wrong and non-depressed people cant understand. its very isolating. Also you get so frusturated at hopelessly gloomy and sad freinds.
this is awesome :) keep up the good work
