We feel ultimately

what we feel

actions tied to

these falshes and

changes they make

but we often ask

too much

of those we hold

so close to heart

yet still want more

another minute

another word

another heartbeat

yet we don't ask

we sit in silence

hoping to hear

or see them

in any fashion

these slices of

time so pleasing

true and plesant

wanting of more

but we ask

too much

clock the enemy

desire the host

draining our souls

infectious melancholy

to the times between

without the words

without the comfort

without the time

for maybe I ask

too much

of others

from time

to time

I have to say I do believe the time is our enemy, to often I wonder if I ask for two much those who surround, yet I also go on to think...what if time is running out. We know of today and not tomorrow.
Certain situations in my life have made e sit back and be silent...I just hope it doesnt come back to bite me in the arse one day!
You just made me think, maybe I should do something about the situation so maybe it wont happen!
