Northern WindA Poem by Wynter IgnatiusCrisp bleached beauties sting upon exposed flesh Brilliant rapture of the void carves to the bone Unwelcome kisses bite true morphing lips to a tundra Incalculable invaders assail randomly inevitable strategy Innumerable fallen brethren litter landscape abscent voice Free of burdens of sacrifice with pain delivered in jest Stealing breath with chasmed coughs and fervored pitch Strength seeps as if leeched by undernourished maws Trees naked with silence offering a similarly sorrow retreat Willing our days into months treated by sodden despair of virgin vigors Prerogatives snap a cold demand for recompense from the sun
