OrderA Poem by Wynter IgnatiusYou're not welcome here Precarious territory deficient in function and form Warning posted clearly upon the facade Windows show of wanton pillage Structural carnage leads to irregular footing Management stands amid bedlam moving in stoic repression Surveying damage without acknowledging legitimacy Tabulated fractal of strewn reflections and vehemence Shattered dreams drowning to extinguish the inferno Sacrifices they made to spite the very soul Auxiliary blasts unphased by welcomed trespassers Demons lie complacent with exposed tissue and bone Still pulling the strings for macabre dances Controlled by embers where fingers once hung daintily Monsters cemented to cages decrepit and razed Awaiting gleaming structure before rattling their cages Swelling with hunger by gnawing on gaunt bones Skeletons tight-lipped despite closetless station Anarchy managing all providence and pride No police or criminals lurk about this mess The skin they share capacious and safe Exits clearly marked on horizon of infinity Shadows surrounded by light vibrant with disgust Weeping dust from cobweb filled eyes No skyscraper ruined for landscape of slaughter Tortured metropolis occupancy singular from inception Welcome to The Order Welcome to my mind
