Winter's Breath

Winter's Breath

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

I am a man of winter.

"
As darkness creeps in as a nebulous looming shade,
I welcome winter docking abreast my concrete style,
As I watch my breath dance to life with every exhale,
I see life tearing out from within my blissful soul,
Welcoming the escape from prisons of vitality and substance,
Chilled winds wrap me in warmth unburden of attire,
Season of reason wrought forth hushed thoughts and fears,
Leaves below tread as dreams long repressed,
I walk in upbeat tones to howling winds and falling snow,
My soul fueled by the frost bore my past,
My heart awakened by the harvesting of dreams.
