Silent Partner

Silent Partner

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

Dealing once again with a relationship kept in secret.

"
Unknown to but a select few,
I'm silence I wait...

Fear of the unknown,
Silence is my worst enemy...

Unsure of foundations built,
Silence my saving grace...

Words unspoken lead to questions,
Silence my bed of nails...

My mind moves beyond it's own design,
Silence thrusts itself upon me...

Thoughts emerge of dark days past,
I drown in filling silence...

Situation changes without foresight,
Silence rings in my very soul...

Effected end now delayed,
Silence the architect of its design...

No touch, no sight, no voice,
Only silence to comfort me...

Pain can ease with time,
Silence prolong the pain...

Still here looking to that hurdle,
I am silence without you...
