As the ex-girlfriend and I started to become more distant, contact muted, this was how I dealt with the loss of contact.

Your time here filled with sorrow

For one there is no tomorrow

Wishing to be there for you

Knowing sadness and feeling so blue

Odd I find myself in this situation

Stuck in a sea of my own rumination

Closest we've been in so many days

Unable to be there due to others' craze

Eyes and voices judge based on the past
