Fallen HeroA Poem by Wynter IgnatiusMy heroes are real people I have met and were in my life for the most part. Hurts to loose them but that is life.Mentor, guide, and confidant When did life drag you down Who caused all this hurt When did stagnation replace vibrance Your dismal outlook in life Last I saw you I was looking up to you Now roles reversed, you looking to me What straw broke the camel's back What twists of fate unraveled your spirit Is there something I can do to help I can't do it all but I can always try Your wisdom put to good use Taking the role of mentor now Just speak, I will listen Returning a kind favor in turn While I don't need a hero anymore I can't sit and watch my hero fall
