Twist of Fate

Twist of Fate

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

Again, my ex-girlfriend was the source of this piece. Even that aside, it is relevant today.

"
People often say
They would change the past
Knowing what they know now
I'm no different than the rest
Uttered from me from time to time
But then again I don't see that anymore
Knowing I might not be the same
I am today
With all the bumps in my road
Obstacles I have overcome
People I have come to know
For better or for worse
Shaped me, helped cement my views
Chapters finished, chapters started
Twists of fate that lead me to today
Lead me to you and you to me
Entwined for all time
