Anthem of the Heartless

Anthem of the Heartless

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

Frustrations put to use

"
You claim love and affection
All you do is yell and ignore
Mistreat names on the glass before you
People you will never see
Judged for showing more skill
Living at the expense of others
Just so you can cuss and shout
Consume and spend all you can see
With all but minor aid to the cause
You don't care for her one bit
Or her beloved son
Claiming nasty things about them both
Yet still wonder why
No longer your company she wants
So go find your own cave
Get your own things
Pay your own bills
Fix your own life
Stop being an angst filled boy
Man up and contribute
Leave them in peace
You may not care
But I do
