Helping Hand

Helping Hand

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

About my ex-girlfriend again when she was hesitant to ask for help from me.

"
Not everyone can do it alone
Sometimes help is needed
Be it simply an ear
Someone to listen
Or a shoulder to cry on
Unconcerned with tears
Strike the regret from your heart
And feeling ashamed when in need
We all have a time in life
Where we find ourselves short
Be it friends, support, or funds
But a helping hand is a blessing
Not a debt to repay
Nothing to be held over ones head
Worry a stress you do not need
On top all the workday throws at us
Just raise your voice to find
Those that see your need
And give what they can
