Poetry in Motion

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

Just a poem about writing.

"
Thought to words
Time for a rhyme
Darkest thoughts
Happiest memories
All scribbled to the page
Or tapped upon a keyboard
Thumbed into a phone
All the same in the end
Yet each unique
A reflection of emotion
Some greyscale
Others ever so vibrant
Metered or freestyle
All important to someone
Cathartic in verse
Freedom or a curse
Echo in time
Scars of the heart
Terrors of the mind
Rips in the soul
All free to the world
For all to see

Literal, veracious and authentic. A poets' or any writers' words are the window to their souls. Tastefully cultivated.
