Trust

Trust

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

Dealing with things and this was the result as trust is one of the few things I find hard to have in people after the events of my past.

"
Easy to break
Harder to regain
Only given
Never taken
I have it in you
You have it in me
We both have lost it
In others we once
Thought loved us
Betrayal the ultimate knife
Twisted in our chests
These wounds may never heal
But we can have trust
In one another
Written
Spoken
In the beauty of body language
A quick phone call
An e-mail
Even a quick text
Souls bared to one another
Trust in the table
Both holding the others'
A vow to never break
One of the most precious gifts
Our trust in one another
May it never falter
This trust
Out trust
