Sometimes Titles Elude Me

Sometimes Titles Elude Me

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius

What to call this piece of me
Removed of me in isolated soul
Ink upon page not born of trees
Sentiment within stains my hands
Forced into constriction by parsed lexicon
Should it carry a title though
Does it need a label for sale
Kings only crowned if people empower
Queen still a quees in eyes of the king
Titles can define in repression of verbiage
No words proper summary of my ardor
Intent soiled in entitlement's missteps
To call that which it is not a travesty
To not title an obstruction of the truth
So I stand in defiance of labored musings
Leaving banner blank for a time
Upon the spotted page by sanguine inkwell
Then shall salutation fall from these lips

Nothing eludes your inkwell when you pen in beauty and fill blank pages with the stains of your soul. And as you empower yourself, you can breathe life into others. In my summary I see the banner of truth...:)....
