A poem about becoming

I've seen beyond the mountains to the valley below,
I've run as the wolf,my feet swift and sure.
I've flown above the tree tops
The eagle I became, their song has been my song,
My soul was never the same...
I've been the silent , cold winter wind,
I've been the spring time flower..
Rain I've given to swell the rivers, I've been the summer showers.
I've sat as the great silent stones , patience has been my friend..
A silent watcher to the end of time, the earth I have been.
