Another old Sad poem

Tears of yesterday
I cried so, for days the tears fell,slow like mollasses
I died so, my heart began to fade,fade from this life that would not accept me.
The tears spread like honey upon my inner world, drowning my dreams in midnight black
Like a shrouded kiss from death himself...The tears fell, Tears born of sorrow and misery..
They swept my soul clean just so they could begin again...The tears of yesterday ...became
Tears of today.

This was so very sad and I felt the tears in this one.
I loved the line.......

"The tears spread like honey upon my inner world, drowning my dreams in midnight black"

Darkness takes us all away sometimes but in the end we see the light.
