The Vision

"

I am Linara the seventh daughter of Leona of the black dragon clan, the seventh daughter as my mother and her mother before me. Our existence has been hidden throughout generations so that our lineage may survive. The legend has it that it is the seventh son , while they have abilities of their own, there is still none greater than her, for she is the life and through her it is passed on.

A seventh daughter is known by the mark that is bestowed upon her at birth from the goddess Tiamat. The mark is in the form of a dragon tattoo and it is with great honor that we receive this mark, for it is one of her children that we are endowed with, a dragon that compliments each of our magical abilities. We are able to call forth the dragon at will to help us in our fight against evil. The seventh is gifted with individual magical abilities each unique to them. It is also legend that the Dracar a seventh daughter will be born and have even greater abilities then has ever been seen before. While I will never see that child in my life time, it has been shown to me that it is my honor to preserve the prophecy by writing it down to safeguard for generations. To pass down to my seventh daughter and she to hers …that is my legacy to sustain.

I have seen a vision and in this vision the Dracar will suffer through many tribulations she will be orphaned at a young age and when she begins to come into her power her dragon shall appear. I have cast a spell that this grimore will call to her so that she may find her heritage and know that she is a person of great worth to her people. Her mate will be a 7th son and she will create magical children not just the seventh but all that shall be born. She shall help to create many were once there were few …and our legacy will then not die out. It is our people that are charged with the care of ensuring that evil does not destroy the world …our people keep the balance and make sure that the earth and humans there of are preserved and guarded. We are the guardians not of just the world but of the lineage that legend calls Dragons. We are the Dracu

Linara raised her hand and began to work the spell that would keep the grimore safe until The Dracar was born. Once she was born the book would make its way to her so that she could learn of her true heritage.  It would bring knowledge and comfort in a time of her greatest need. The moon shone bright and a dragon roared in the distance.  The dragon bands on her upper arms burned with the power of the dracu. She could feel it coursing through her body.  The manifestation of the power she was calling gently blew back her hair, as she pulled more power the wind blew more forceful until her hair was whipping behind her like a banner.  Her hands shone brightly as she forced the spell to wrap around the book to seal it. As she uttered the last word the book disappeared into thin air already on its journey to The Dracar.  Linara stumbled and then caught herself; a spell that powerful usually took something out of her but this would not be so with the Dracar. The Dracar would not have the same limitations as the people. She was the savior of the Dragon clans and would reunite them after the purging that was to come.  With satisfaction Linara turned and with a broom broke the circle that she had cast to perform the spell. She swept away every trace of what she had done this night and then turned and walked into the black of the forest toward her village. She could feel unease in the air and knew the evil had found them and soon the purging would begin. For a moment she allowed Terror to fill her but the power of the dracu filled her and comforted her.
