The strongest I have ever been

A young girl has been suicdal most her life she has cuts and bruises but now she is isent That young girl she is more then that she is the strongest she has ever been!

The light slowly shined on to her pale crystal clear complexion
She looks down at her old enemies
The dashes of horror come back so fast she can't breathe
Those dashes are the cuts of her past the only thing that kept her living
But now she is the strongest she ever been she feels the cuts as she is healing
Them with the power of overcoming what was the little girl who made those reckless decisions to this woman making the wrong right in her life
She try's not to remember the horrid bloode dripping down her arm as that young girl the bloode was soothing as a woman the bloode reminds her of the past somthing she wished never to remember

That young woman that over came ever obstacle that she faced is me

I think it's a powerful poem that shows us that change is possible and that the power to make that change is most always already inside us, we just need a way to get it jump started sometimes. I really enjoyed this piece because is shows us the great strength that people can have and that happier endings are possibilities for everyone if they try.
