She's Not Perfect, But I Love Her

She's Not Perfect, But I Love Her

A Poem by Wunderlich
"

Inspired by ancient Rome.

"
Bound to Rome by flesh and bone
I cannot leave this city alone
Her sword is young but bathed in blood
She stands so elegant and tall
She'll attract both hate and love
For her figure is in the eyes of the world
Jealousy and greed will force her to her knees
But I'll be there the day she needs me

This is a wonderful piece. I especially like, "Her sword is young but bathed in blood/She stands so elegant and tall/She'll attact both hate and love" Nice job (:
