A Little Bit of Everything

A Little Bit of Everything

A Poem by Wunderlich
"

This was written for Al-itzah's "Your Inspiration" contest. Eh.

"

All the pungent poison that hugs my throat
All the cancerous clouds my lungs hold
All the stainless steel blades my skin hates
All the words I've heard exit your lips

All the fermented rye my liver tries to hide
All the crystalline grass burned and sucked through glass
All the painfull little pills and their minute thrills
All the little things you do that I can't help but hate

Every cent passed up the ladder to the screeching preacher
Every assault on the rights of a human being
Every shot from a .45 and the herion in the needle's eye
Every string strung too tight in the heart and mind

Modest mice and the rush of Ayn Rand
Everything that's come and gone
