Two Doors

Two Doors

A Poem by Christopher Patten
"

There are always two doors in someone's life, which will you choose?

"
Two doors lie before you
It’s been years since you’ve been here.
What path will you choose?

On the left, you see your excuse
And you shed a dry tear
Two doors lie before you

You know it’s a game that you’ll hate to lose,
Life has only been built on your fear.
What path will you choose?

But on the right you want the truth
All you want is to see her
Two doors lie before you

Can you imagine her love that abused?
If you made it up, it won’t be as strong as before.
What path will you choose?

Oh how great I’d feel to breakthrough
And loose my fear, But
Two doors lie before you
What path will you choose?

seems I always pick the wrong one... Great premise here..I'd pick the truth if I could sneak a peek in
