After Last Night

a tempting poem

After Last Night

The moon was peeking through the blinds
As the two lay there in bed
With unashamed smiles on their faces
Their hair tousled ‘bout their heads

Can I fix you something to eat
It’s way past dinner, he said
Oh my, it is almost morning
How about a snack instead,

They were both justly exhausted
From their euphoric exuberation
Then naked as Eve, she stole away
And returned with a juicy temptation.

This is part of a six poem story. I need to actually post them in the order they go. It tells a romantic tale.

Thank you for your wonderful comments and compliments.

Trace.

I read this a couple of days ago. The way you write makes me feel like I am right there. I had to wait a couple days to gather my thoughts. Wow! I'm not going to ask the obvious. Great temptation! I love it!
