Master of Desire

 

Master, oh master, you know what I crave

All I possess, I leave go of

So easy to please, oh make me your slave

Take me; oh take me to your chambers of love

Even as though it is oft what I need

Release me my freedom and make me behave

 

Of this I do wonder, how could it be so

For all this I ponder, now that I’ve let go,

 

Desire is strong, my soul is on fire

Even as I know, the power of your touch

So come unto me, your strength I admire

Induce your will, it’s never too much

Remove my innocence, replace with thy greed

Exposed vulnerability for my Master of Desire.

This was a challenge to create an acrostic and incorporate the title of the poem in the first word of each verse and at the end of the poem.
