Love or be Loved

Its magical

I truly believe;
people come into our lives for a reason,
some we love , some we admire,
some we learn from, and some we desire,
we never know how long they will stay,
and we cant control when they go away,
But we can remember the good times we've had, and forgive and forget if the memories were bad,
we can cherish the times they were a part of our life, we live and we learn through trouble and strife,
Yet when we love without question
and we love from the heart,
we have given a gift that will never depart.
So know that no matter, what consequences bring,
if you loved or were loved, it's a magical thing.

Much wisdom here. The part about forgiving is most insightful. Some of the most grievous psychic wounds are those inflicted by lovers, and forgiveness is a great act of overcoming.
