There is a melancholy feel to this write, my friend. September....holds a lot of memories for me and some are heart wrenching. Still, it is a beautiful month in Northern climes where the leaves change color and the McIntosh apples fill the air with their scent. You brought a lot to my mind with this short write...good one. I took a picture of Sunrise through rain clouds ( which I will add to this poem when I get to my home computer) and it inspired me.
A lovely little tribute to September.
A very busy month for me, lots of birthdays and back to school... It's always bittersweet. Saying goodbye to summer, to welcome fall.
dear Trace... My first born son Robert lives exactly where you live. I spent thirty days there with his first born daughter in August and September four years ago. The mountains surrounding the city were awesome and the rain was refreshing. We went fishing on a lake on top of a mountain. Our world is full of possibilities. truly, Pat
Your poem captures the beauty of the changing season...So lovely my friend. I've missed reading you...
Hugs, Julie

Thank you my sweet friend for reading and your wonderful compliments on my poem.
The month has always been somewhat magical to me...just the saying of it conjures up wonderful memories of autumns past... and those yet to come!
I loved the brevity of it, too. It simply doesn't need any more! Much applause, Trace!
