FORGIVIN NIGHT

FORGIVIN NIGHT

A Poem by Tanya Williams

The streets where dark and cold

everything was silent but I had to be bold

U looked at me and said you loved me

And I believed you until 30 min ago

I cried, laughed, and died to the things u let happen

my body and heart was raped by you and your lies

your friends did not care because they enjoyed the thrill

at the such a young age at 16 my heart was buried

and body defiled, but I still live on and act like nothing happened

days past I never want to remember I push it in a corner

years later I remember when I realized that I forgave you

without realizing but now I say it out loud your are

FORGIVIN'
