Little girl

Little girl

A Poem by WrittenRae

A little girl petrified,
Broken-
all alone.
Is it so much to want more than this?
Is it dumb to want a home?

Little girl is dying inside,
She's pale as pale can be,
And she tries so hard to keep control,
But nothing is ever as easy at it seems.

She tries so hard to eat and be normal,
like all those other girls,
But inside she tortures her mind-
Everything swirls.

A little girl petrified,
Broken-
all alone.
Is it so much to want more than this?
Is it dumb to want a home?

A smile often covers,
What lies beneath her eyes,?
A broken tortured soul,
filled with nothing but goodbyes.

And bruises?
there are many!
They lie beneath her skin,
To say "Sticks and stones may break me",
doesn't come within

borderlines where this sad little girl has been.

About
Look, I've made some mistakes, and they have made me who I am today, but that does not mean that they are who I am. I did stupid things but I'm changing every day and I think that's a good thing. I lo.. more..
