Shiver Me Timbers

Shiver Me Timbers

A Poem by Written On The Run

We hold fast
Like pirate ships
Run the black and let it rip.
I think I found me treasure Island
But I didn't have the Billy Bones
Just me Long John Silver.
Where's it buried?
We're all a quiver.
I had too much fun
Drank too much rum
And just killed me liver.
Shiver me timbers.

Very light and quirky. A very pleasant read. :)
