The Smile

The Smile

A Poem by Writingfox

A smile.
How can one convey
Something so simple,
Something so complex?
With words
And letters.
Characters and spaces.
In black and white.
This is true magic.
You smile.
I hear your tone
in the way you arrange your figures.
I can see you smile through your pen,
fingers sliding ,
across smooth white paper, gliding.
Almost like a caress
The lines of your face wrinkling,
your eyes crinkling.
Your mirth and joy
are contagious.
I smile.
Your mission complete,
the work counted worthwhile.

I like it .. only a smile of yours can make others smile , nothing can convey better meaning than a simple sweet smile of yours

In what way do you mean clear up NaCl?

I didn't quite understand it at first, the beginning needs some clearing up, but the end bit was well done and easy to read. Nice job.

I love this one. Smiles, I think, are one of the best things in life, and you have very accurately and beautifully conveyed them. Great job!
