This reminds me of my youth, and everyone telling me where I should be and what I should be doing...but I finally found my own niche. I realized I had to live my life for me in order to be fulfilled, not live for them.
really good theme here, well presented.

I believe we often find ourselves in that state when growing up, living for others vs for ourselves, and thus never finding what truly fills us until much later, but better late than never, I suppose. Thank you for the feedback and for sharing your thoughts!
I agree.
"Steered off into a direction that does not fill me,
A direction I must endure until my purpose is
Finally achieved by my own will and hands."
We decide our journey. Wrong or right. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

Very good. I appreciate this notion of finding oneself through hard work, toil and experience. One can accomplish much through thought and conviction, but the element of achieving by your own "will and hands" has a whole new element. I also appreciated "This roaring fire that hungers for a difference,
Whether to make it, or be a part of it" focuses on the involvement rather than just "doing".

I loved this. It’s so true, only we can be the people to find our real passion, what truly makes us happy. It’s crazy how true this sentiment actually is, and how you delivered it is even better. It’s such an exhausting and long turn around when you delve into a passion that is just not made for you. It can be such a struggle but as long as we lean into what feels right, we’ll get there. Thank you so much for sharing.
