Lunar EclipseA Poem by Erin
Scarlet red on a patchwork of blue
A beautiful sight this moon does produce. Look at the moon dwelling in our shadow, An eclipse most common, nobody cares. Watch as the moon turns a deeper shade of red, A moment so perfect and shown to so few. This night is so beautiful Watching the moon. Red like the fire in a kitchen's hearth, Red like the blood that flows through our veins. The blue like the ocean, never one shade, Sparkling with crystals so far away. A lunar eclipse that lasts all night, The beautiful sight forever engraved in my mind. The moon is red and fading slowly, This lunar night forever in my heart. © 2012 ErinReviews
