Wishes Aren't What They Seem

Wishes Aren't What They Seem

A Poem by Erin

Those airplanes in the midnight sky,
Those were wishes,
Dreams for you and I.

That fountain which we threw our cash,
Unfulfilled wishes,
Dreams from the past.

The fluffy feet we held in our hands,
A wish always wished for,
A dream to live grand.

The seeds we blew into the breeze,
The wishes we sent into the future,
Those dreams were tangled in life's trees.

Those good luck charms we always had,
Those wishes that we always wished,
Those dreams that never made us glad.

We wished for dreams,
And we dreamed for wishes,
A life unlived, wishes weren't what they seemed.

Erin
It doesn't flow very nicely, I'm aware. Please point out specific lines, if you will, of places that I could greatly improve upon.
