Riley talks to Angel. Find out how it goes...

“I’m late! Again…” I yelled. Without any hesitation I pulled back the bed sheets, not bothering to make them. I dressed into my uniform quickly, making it look rather crumpled on me. I brushed my teeth hastily, so it wasn’t done properly. There was no time for a proper breakfast so I quickly put some bread in the toaster. It popped out a burnt, but I didn’t care anymore. I grabbed it and ran to the bus stop as quick as I could, as If I was some kind of bullet. I was crunching my toast every now and again. It was like sawdust, horrible, but better than nothing. The bus was closing in on the bus stop and I skidded right next to Matt and Alex just in time for the bus to stop.

“Calling it close again hey?” Matt joked

I just looked at him and smiled back.

We clambered onto the bus and found a triple seat and then we all sat down. We chatted away for a while, but the journey just dragged on. And there was someone I couldn’t get out of my mind… She was so beautiful… The journey seemed as if it would never end as we went down road after road. At long last the bus stopped outside the school.  With a groan, I flung my backpack over my shoulders and headed into the building. I entered my form for registration. Then I saw her! It was that blonde haired girl.  She was sitting with her friends chatting and giggling to them. Then everyone went quiet as the door slammed open. It was like a cursendo, only in reverse.  Our form teacher had walked through the door.

Her name is Ms. Wilson. She is a very nice woman generally, but you don’t want to get on her bad side as she can be very strict. She’s like a mint candy in some sense. The mint candy starts of sweet and gentle in flavour then grows intensely strong. This links to her because she starts of very nice, but will get stricter and grumpier.

She began the register. Eventually she got to the girl and said “Angel Rose” and the angelic girl responded “Yes Ms.”

So that’s her name… It suits her. She’s just like an angel. Ms. Wilson told us to head off to period one. I took my planner out my bag and run my finger along to Monday, period one. I let out a short groan as it said Maths. I hate maths and if that wasn’t bad enough, there’s our maths teacher.

Grumpily, I walked down the dull gray corridors of our school until I reached my maths classroom. Angel was sitting one one of the tables. I let out a smile; maybe she could add some sunshine to the dull lifeless classroom. Her ocean blue eyes looked at me for a short while, but then she quickly looked back at her work. I was finding it hard to concentrate on the division due to Angel on the other side of the classroom. She’s just so hypnotizing, it’s almost impossible to draw your eyes away from her. I shook myself out of it and did my best to try and focus on the dreaded division.  The maths wasn’t fun in any shape or form for me.           I wanted to be in Angel’s arms. When maths was over, my planner revealed English to be next. When I finally reached the English classroom I settled down and looked at the task on the board. English was going really well, and then I saw Angel on a table across from me. The task on the board was to write a poem. I wrote it about a girl that was basically a living Angel. Hair that’s blonde and shiny…

After English I packed my bag and headed off to the main hall and sat down at one of the tables. Angel came and sat next to me, and her friends near her.

“Hi…” I said nervously

“Oh… Hi…” she said

“Has anyone told you how beautiful you are?”

“Why thank you!”

“No problem. Do you like skate boarding?”

“Not really, well not me doing it myself. I watching boys do it though.”

I just hit the jackpot. There was a chance here

“Cool. I love skateboarding. You’re really kind.”

“Again, thank you.”

“Do you have a favourite colour?”

“Pastel colours, pastel pink especially!”

“I like blue myself, personally.”

“Oh, Ok”

“I love pizza, especially pepperoni. What’s your favourite food?”

“It has to be cupcakes with pink icing and strawberries! Then again I have a big weakness for chocolate!”

“That’s nice…”

“Oh it is…”

“Um…. do you have a favourite flower

“Cherry blossom is my favourite”

“Do you like animals?”

“Do I like them? I adore them! I have a super cute and fluffy pet kitten at home!”

“That sounds cute!”

“She is!”

“I better go… See you later…”

I ran off feeling like I made a bad first impression, my heart throbbing.

“Well that was kind of weird, but he was quite cute!” I heard her say. I smiled a little more, but the throb was still there.
