School Forest MazeA Poem by DaydreamingAngel~This was orginally just homework for school but I was so proud of it that I decided to submit it here!Shaking like a leaf Out on a limb So far from home Wish I could go back in, to the ones I know My roots are being pulled
The doors were wide open Larger ones stampeded in like bulls I was now a little fish in a big pond A mouse in a long, puzzling maze Left or right, I really don’t know
The forest paths confuse Bulls in every corridor Being squashed in tight spaces It seems like this forest was built for the seedlings to go insane and get lost
As the day went on Zooming like a sonic boom My roots were watered with knowledge I think I understand now, the ways of this forest maze
My seed has begun to sprout My roots are refreshed I will let the sun of learning and the water of knowledge aid my growth Until I am a large tree, budding with the flowers of wisdom
When the home time bell rings Every day now, I know my growth has continued I know one day that I will be fully grown and filled with wisdom.
There’s also one more thing Everywhere we are we’re shrouded in good and bad Choices to make The school maze’s bulls are both of them
For me only fate can decide If I will be dark and withered, the knowledge gained used for bad Or if I will be good with emerald leaves and spring time flowers My decisions and the maze paths I take Will seal my life tree fate © 2011 DaydreamingAngel~Author's Note
