I've Never...

An ode to things I haven't experienced.

I've never been to the ocean before

I've never had the pleasure of viewing the ocean floor

I've never had a long walk on the beach

I've had my share of Long Island Iced Teas

I've never been to war overseas

I've never written poems like these

"I've never knew love like this before"

I put my "Thum" on a "map" and wonder

Will I ever get to explore

Emotions that are as deep as that ocean floor

I've never had the pleasure of viewing before
