Butterflies

Butterflies

A Poem by WritersBlock7

I never knew anybody like him;

He gives me looks that make butterflies

The warm kind of butterflies that stay in your stomach way to long

But I want to be filled with something else

When he caresses me; it’s my back he touches so slowly

So softly,

Lighter than feathers

Like he’s scared he’ll hurt me

I try to make his tenderly touches last; I don’t want to be too greedy

But they are never enough

I want his love to suffocate me

I tease him with my fingers along his stomach

Give me more

Please

But is he too gentle for the kind of love I need?

I enjoyed this write. It reminds me of times my fiance crave my touches. I think it may be something about the feeling of having someone who is normally in protective and hard mode be so kind and gentle. It may take you encouraging that's what you need more often and sometimes a lil rougher....lol
