Sketch MeA Poem by AlexzanderaSketch Me: A Set of InstructionsSketch me as I am As I am every day Make note that my dimple is on the left And that it is rarely seen Detail my expression From the perspective of a passerby Seemingly irritable Yet merely deep in thought Sketch me as I am Dark-rimmed glasses and all Conforming to the stereotype Of the common high school nerd Do not forget the forehead wrinkles Signalling rumination For if I wore them even a millisecond longer My face would freeze Sketch me as I am Skin tight leggings pulled up high An oversized sweater covering my fingertips For overly-comfortable Is a personality trait Many overlook Sketch me as I am, Not how you see me For your eyes skim only the surface Of my entire being From a glance, you would not know That my favorite color is green That I think Dumbledore is an awful person You would not know That I am always cold And love the Fall You would not know these things From a glance But sketch them anyway Sketch me as I am © 2017 AlexzanderaReviews
