For What It's Worth

For What It's Worth

For What It's Worth
by Patricia L Francis - Copyright © Patricia L Francis

Every day I wonder
about all the things I've read
about the glory and the thunder
that lie in the times ahead

Who has the answer
to the universal goal
the man on the corner
says he has cure
but who knows, who knows,
Who knows?

Every where I look
I see the stories in the eyes
of all the lost and lonely
hiding in disguise

We're all
Searching,searching,searching
for the reason of our birth
It has to be more than nothing
For what it's worth
For what it's worth..

We all have our visions
of the days to come
tho' our choices seem limitless
there really is but one

We're all
searching,searching,searching
for the reason of our birth
it has to be more than nothing
For what it's worth
For what it's worth...
