THE TACITURN CRYING OF MY HEARTA Poem by Writer At 13It's about a child who witnesses the relationship of their family falling apart.I try to cover my ears battered, And pretend that I could hear nothing. I try to shut my eyes sodden, And act as if I couldn’t see anything. But they were yelling at the top of their lungs, While their eyes full of hurt and tears. Their hearts filled with hatred, Whilst their love disappears. Mother once told me That we will fulfill my dreams together. And then Father promised me that He will leave me never. But now that we’re tearing apart, What more lies have you made me believe in? To where will this ever lead me, Now that you are leaving? Once you built around me A wall to make me feel safe and sound, But even you who assembled it, Have made me fall bleakly to the ground. Do you not even think of me If we would live this wicked life apart? Do you not hear anything " This taciturn crying of my heart? © 2011 Writer At 13Author's Note
